Why join us?

We’re a trust that stands out in many ways as an employer. When you visit our hospitals you can feel something special about the surroundings, the people and the culture.

We know just how important our employees are to what we do. So, we’ve worked hard to create a trust where you will know you are valued, respected and rewarded. There’s no better place to take your career forward, however you see your future.

Clinical excellence

Our aim is to deliver genuine clinical excellence by sharing best practice effectively across our sites while strengthening leadership and management. Through leading-edge diagnostics and techniques we’re taking a first class, consultant-led approach to NHS healthcare. Our values guide us and act as a constant reminder of the need for excellence.

Facilities and environment

Our hospitals are modern and well resourced – we know it makes a massive difference to our team to work with the latest equipment. There’s also a big emphasis on making our hospitals bright, vibrant places to be.

Culture and colleagues

New starters, visitors, patients – when people first come to Frimley Health, they can’t help noticing how friendly everyone is. This positive atmosphere gives a genuine boost to employees and patients alike. Plus, there’s always someone there who’s ready to listen or offer support and a kind word when you need it.

Crucially, the trust’s values have a big influence on the day-to-day working experience. Living these values gives the whole team a shared sense of purpose and direction – and strengthens the team spirit.

Learning and career development

It’s important to us that every employee has the opportunity to reach their full potential. There are a huge range of learning opportunities and activities for both clinical and non-clinical staff – including highly rated preceptorships. You will have your own development plan, linked into the appraisal process and the support of your line manager to follow your ambitions.

You’re encouraged to take control of your own development and identify courses and learning opportunities that will specifically benefit you. Options include management development, clinical skills training, personal skills, IT and Health and Safety.

Along with great career prospects and job satisfaction we also offer a wide range of extra benefits and services to our staff, and a range of opportunities to help promote your health and wellbeing.

Three locations within touching distance of London

You’re close to fresh air, tranquillity and green space. The Berkshire, Surrey and Hampshire countrysides are easily reached from the hospital. You might be into country pubs and leisurely walks - or something more adventurous. If you enjoy sports and hobbies you will be spoilt for choice.

Frimley is about 35 minutes on the fast train from London Waterloo or it’s easily reached in the car via the M3. That means the capital’s close enough for day-trips or even an evening or night out. Some employees even live in London and commute to us.

Schools in the area are good - and the area’s a good place to grow up. You certainly won’t be bored for things to do - there’s plenty on offer from more traditional attractions like castles and parks to high-wire fun at the Go Ape activity centre in Bracknell, and the Gravity Force trampoline centre in Camberley.
