We are looking for innovative consultants and specialty doctors to join and complement our experienced Developmental Paediatricians and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry teams.

Our Children and Young People's services offer a diverse range of working experiences in the community and in-patient settings across Surrey and North East Hampshire.

Surrey CAMHS sees all young people, up to their 18th birthday, regardless of educational status. As well as the community CAMHS teams, there is also a suite of other specialist teams, often working in parallel:

Crisis Team – for emergencies, including those that present at acute hospitals
Hope Service – providing an intensive outreach service and a day programme for high risk young people
Extended Hope - an evening crisis service accessible by all, as well as Hope House, a unique short-stay residential unit for mental health crisis respite
CAMHS Havens – crisis drop-in service
Primary Mental Health Team
Early Intervention in Psychosis Team
Eating Disorders Service
CAMHS for Children with Learning Disabilities
Forensic CAMHS
Specialist CAMHS Teams for adopted and looked-after children, as well as young people who have experienced sexual trauma
Mindful Service – outreach for young people who are otherwise difficult to access
CAMHS Single Point of Access (SPA) team
A number of CAMHS partner agencies also provide various services, including: counselling, drug and alcohol support, and ADHD parenting programmes
