Are you an experienced Medical Assistant looking to further your career in Orthopedics? A premiere Orthopedic Surgeon is looking for a Medical Assistant to help in the daily activities of the practice. Responsibilities of the provider include assisting physicians in providing care in the clinical environment, applying and removing casts, dressing changes and suture removals, fitting durable medical equipment and instructing patients in exercises, maintaining medical equipment and updating inventory, preparing patients for injections and various other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

·         Active Medical Assistant Licensure in California

·         2 years’ experience as an Orthopedic Technician or Medical Assistant

·         Experience casting and performing digital x-rays required

·         Ability to multi-task and communicate effectively
