Our client is a professional Agriculture organization, based in Zuid-Holland Netherlands.

Our client is specialized in the area of flower breeding. Their most important goal is to maintain and expand their reputation of high quality seeds. The ambition is to extend this goal throughout Europe. This company is part of a larger worldwide organization and one of the most recognized names in the field.


As head of the flower breeding department you will have to be able to set up and support breeding programs. Examples are project to improve color and life span including the improvement of the general quality. It is important to create new and exciting species that will contribute to the company name and reputation. Furthermore, their mission to show Europe that they are the most innovative when it comes to breeding flowers. Your contribution to this mission will be an incremental part of success.


• Lead multiple breeding project throughout the year
• Identify market needs and trends
• Asses and evaluate research data and employee performances
• Research genetics of the flowers and set up cross breeding projects
• Innovation of flower species


• PhD in agricultural related field with research experience in plant breeding
• Around 6-8 years of work experience in a flower breeding industry
• Genetic and molecular breeding techniques
• Gross breeding knowledge
• Dutch and fluent English
• Highly motivated personality
