Business Analyst are assigned to individual projects & programmers within GRU, this will include the build out of new reconciliations to support Citi’s control environment, on boarding of new reconciliations & teams within the GRU and strategic reconciliation initiatives. The role is to provide expert analysis, define corresponding solutions and to implement these solutions. The role will incorporate a number of elements including analysis & design, testing & business readiness activities. The business analyst will be working in partnership with internal GRU clients & technology teams across the APAC region.

  • Develop individual project artifacts as necessary, including Business Requirements documentation (BRD’s), test scripts and business readiness
  • Define and manage project plans to deliver changes/benefits on time within budget
  • Identify key project issues & risks and manage to resolution or escalate accordingly
  • Effective & frequent communications to GRU Management & GRU stakeholders e.g. weekly project updates
  • Develop alone, or work with others, to define strategies aligned with the GRU strategy and goals
  • Work in partnership with GRU clients, provide recommendations for improving reconciliation service and ensure APAC has a voice into tactical & strategic programs
  • Assist in ad-hoc duties within the global GRU Change Management team as necessary

 


Qualifications
 

Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of financial experience
  • Real world experience in analysis, design, testing and implementation
  • Experience in collecting, defining and documenting business and technology requirements
  • Experience in reconciliations processing or change management

Competencies:

  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to facilitate discussions
  • Managing, organizing and prioritizing multiple tasks
  • Ability to quickly grasp and master new concepts / requirements and related product / functional knowledge
  • Ability to learn / understand some technical implications of system design
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage to tight deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements
  • Ability to create clear status reports catered to all levels of management
  • Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Project
  • Lean & Six Sigma training / experience an advantage
  • Corona / TLM systems experience an advantage
