The Ventures Studio at Citi Ventures is seeking a Senior Product Manager who wants to be at the forefront of that transformation, helping conceive, design, and develop transformational customer experiences. The position is based in San Francisco and will report to the Head of the Product at Ventures Studio. About YouCiti Ventures is seeking a Senior Product Manager to join the Ventures Studio team in San Francisco. The Senior Product Manager will be responsible for conceptualizing products, driving user research and crafting requirements and user stories. In addition, this role will own the development and delivery of new products by working in an agile fashion alongside a team of other product managers, designers, developers, strategy and go-to-market teams. This role will also be responsible for putting together a crisp and clear roadmap for the product and plan product iterations based on insights, data and consumer research. We are looking to recruit someone who is passionate about emerging trends, has the ability to succeed in a start-up environment, has strong analytical and communications skills, and also the ability to collaborate and succeed in a large, global company.Responsibilities
  • Evaluate new opportunities, evolve our product strategy, and guide both short- and long-term product roadmaps.
  • Develop deep understanding of key macro trends, evolving competition and changing user requirements.
  • Manage the ideation, technical development, and launch of innovative products.
  • Integrate usability studies, research and market analysis into product requirements to enhance user satisfaction.
  • Own the complete product roadmap and write user stories and prioritize backlog based on product strategy and vision.
  • Constantly evangelize the vision so all stakeholders are aligned, have context and understand where we are going
  • Drive product development with a team of world-class engineers and designers internally and with external agencies.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams and other business leaders within the company to collaborate and extract meaningful insights and articulate product strategy, positioning, and decisions.
  • Act as a scrum Product Owner.
  • Assist cross-functional groups with product launch activities including but not limited to product demos, product training, product positioning/messaging, and support processes.
  • Define and analyze metrics that inform the success of products.
  • Support partnerships teams that are engaging with outside industry partners on products that map to our core focus areas.
  • Partner with 3rd parties to extend product offerings.
  • Monitor target markets and user/buyer personas of one's product on an on-going basis for product positioning and additional features.
  • Communicate the product strategy, roadmap, deliverables, performance, etc. to stakeholders and C-level employees within the organization.
  • Help define product KPIs and participate in the monitoring and reporting of the data.
  • Attend release sessions and provide Go/No-Go decision within the process.

  • BA/BS Bachelor’s Degree
  • 7-10 years’ experience delivering highly successful and innovative consumer digital products with your fingerprints all over them - you’re extremely proud of what you’ve accomplished.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate customer needs and data into requirements.
  • Professional Agile experience, including story writing and backlog prioritization/management.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Stellar design instincts and product taste.
  • A high bar across the board - from your own contributions to the people you work with to the products you work on.
  • A never-ending desire to grow and learn.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions and recommendations as well as to drive product development.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where continuous adaptability is required.
  • Cross-functional communication and collaboration skills.
  • Strategic thinking and ability to incorporate larger business context into new product development.
