With a pre-eminent global brand and distribution, CRS delivers industry-leading products, advanced services and payment systems that address clients’ evolving needs.  The CRS Marketing Operations Department is creating a new team under Price Management to support pricing analytics, reporting and pricing controls. This position is responsible for leading and directing a pricing analytics team which will provide pricing insights for all partners across CRS to assist in developing competitive pricing strategies to drive revenue and/or cost save opportunities based on the industry view. This position provides strategic insights and thought leadership to analyze the pricing data within the systems to ensure pricing components are functioning correctly, as well as identify potential gaps that could drive issues. This person will work closely with quality assurance teams within Citi to ensure that the appropriate testing and QA processes are being conducted to ensure reporting and exceptions are being tracked, handled accurately and timely to avoid consumer and partner impact. From these analytic outputs, this person will work closely with cross functional business teams to formulate and implement business recommendations. This position works closely with the Partner Management Leadership Teams, Partner Management, and cross functional leaders across Marketing, Risk, Finance, and Business Development as well as interacting with our Partners. This individual will report directly to the Head of Pricing and Statement Operations.    Key Responsibilities & Collaborative Points 
  • Responsible for managing a team which will support pricing analytics, forecasting, pricing/regulatory exception reports, promotional oversight, FDR pricing oversight, monitoring and evaluating pricing strategy components within the systems
  • Responsible for participating in prioritized pricing projects and remediation efforts as agreed
  • Responsible for identifying areas of improvement within the pricing infrastructure to assist in identifying cost save opportunities or production efficiencies
  • Accountable for reviewing and evaluating pricing quality assurance testing and processes to ensure aligned with the appropriate governance controls; ensure issues are addressed as depicted by the service level agreements (SLA) and the controls are outlined within the Manager Control Assessment (MCA) processes
  • Provide support for statement MIS and exception reports
  • Support internal and external audits and walk-throughs as required
  • Ensure adherence to the regulatory requirements for the pricing team
  • Understand critical data processes and technology components within the pricing processes; identifying critical gaps and/or opportunities and devising a plan to address and implement
  • Support new partner onboarding; providing conversion pricing analytics
  • Develop strong, trust-based relationships with critical internal business partners

 Business and Technical Requirements 
  • 7+ years of experience working within Credit Card industry and/or IT function in a large, matrixed, multinational organization; Private Label Credit experience preferred
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Technology or a quantitative discipline or relevant work experience
  • Understanding of credit card data and credit card systems; knowledge of FDR a plus
  • Experience in system analysis and writing business and functional specifications
  • Strong knowledge of consumer financial services regulatory environment
  • Strong business acumen
  • Specific knowledge of private label/co-brand credit cards, working knowledge of other consumer financial services products a plus
  • Demonstrated track record of collaboration across multiple, disparate internal business groups
  • Strong problem solving skills to proactively address business questions and the ability to understand trade-offs and impacts, as well as business process reengineering
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities across teams and work effectively under pressure in a rapidly changing environment
  • In-depth understanding of P&L statement and key drivers, Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, and Knowledge and Experience of analytic tools (i.e. SAS, SQL, regression, segmentation, decision tree, simulation etc.) is required.
  • History of attracting, developing, and retaining top talent at all levels
