The Company

Hello Sitecore developers,

SIRE Information Technology is looking for a candidate for 12 months with the possibility on extension. We are looking for a developer, with experience in Web development, delivering web sites in SiteCore platform. This role will overlook the support of the SiteCore platform that is hosted in an external Azure environment and with the actual development being executed by our outsourced partner. He/She will interact with the hosting service provider in case of outages and support the outsourced service provider in case of issues or development needs in our SiteCore platform.

Expected start date in November as the person to be replaced will be on maternity leave as per Dec 14th.

Role Description

Technical Skills
Responsible for supporting the SiteCore platform, interacting with hosting partners and outsourced development teams
Configure and maintain the functional objects of SiteCore if required
Manage operational requests and assist in the escalated triage of support issues, working with diverse user groups


Assist in gathering requirements to continuously improve the SiteCore platform
Proactively identify production risks and create actionable mitigation plans
Collaborate with vendors and information technology to prioritize, launch and implement new tools and SiteCore platform enhancements.
Participate in the Agile development process


Required Qualifications, Skills & Abilities
5+ years of experience in a Web sites delivery, with technical administration/developer role.
SiteCore certifications (Administrator and /or Developer certifications in particular).
Experience or knowledge of the pharmaceutical, medical device, biotech or general healthcare industries.
Experience with Agile development practices.
Experience working both independently and in a team-oriented collaborative environment.
Ability to meet deadlines and schedules and be accountable.
Experience in communicating with external business partners.
Technical proficiency with analytics systems and Excel, PowerPoint, and Word applications.
Excellent Oral & Written Communication Skills and an ability to work directly with users to refine business requirements.
Previous success working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
Experience with other CMS/DMS systems.
An energetic and self-motivated approach to solving problems and driving solutions.
