About Your Job:

Are you able to think creatively to interpret and re-design customer needs into useful products?

We are looking for a Service Delivery Design Specialist to assist the Manager Service Delivery Design in developing, reviewing, evaluating, recommending and continuously improving in-flight service product and processes for the Premium class cabin including the galley within the aircraft for existing and new Qatar Airways fleet by providing ideas through innovative thinking, exploring and investigating other airlines by reviewing current market trends within the industry and providing solutions or suggestions to the Line Manager to ensure that in-flight service delivery in the Premium cabin is above par with competitors.

 

  • Provide suggestions and improvement plans to help define and manage in-flight service delivery sequence (product and services) in the Premium classes cabin for most aircraft types.
  • Ensure that the services are designed keeping in mind the various sectors that the aircraft may be required to fly, sector compatible, crew friendly and passenger focused.
  • Developing content for the service guides, compiling and producing up to date service and product related content on various themes, ensuring consistent training delivery standards for Cabin crew and related employees.
  • Preparation of the Perfect Host Guide and include enhancements to services, new services, new aircraft and new products and report changes through the regular issue of memo’s and crew bulletins.
  • Review, monitor, and provide feedback and suggestions to the Line Manager on in-flight service delivery (i.e. product, food, beverages, cabin techniques and procedures) standards by  conducting regular service audits on board in order to ensure consistent service delivery to passengers that meet the Qatar Airways standard net-work wide.
  • Assist in the introduction of new services on targeted or defined routes.
  • Assist the Line Manager with work related to the Project Team for new aircraft; provide suggestions design interiors of the cabin, galleys and cabin techniques that are crew and passenger focused, in keeping with current trends, Qatar Airways brand and vision. Design services on these aircraft that are innovative and in keeping with Qatar Airways vision and objectives.
  • Research industry wide best practices and products by conducting competitor analysis (bench marking) of leading airlines and hotels, their in-flight/in-house service delivery standards and make strategic recommendations to Service Delivery for continuous improvement.

 

About You:

 

Essential:

  • Minimum of 5 years of job related experience.
  • Strong creative, organizational, problem solving and time management skills
  • Must have very good eye for detail
  • Possess strong conceptual skills, high-level sense of design, layout and typography, and a broad thinker who is able to offer a variety of design solutions
  • Able to work well under pressure
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills 
  • Must have a pleasing personality, positive attitude and a team player in a multi-cultural environment
  • Adaptable and a quick learner.
