We are currently seeking an experienced individual to join this team in the role of Senior Audit Executive (Payments IT Audit).


The Senior Audit Executive will support the Payments IT Audit Managers and Senior Payments IT Audit Managers within Internal Audit function with the delivery of IT focussed internal audits of HSBC’s Global Payments environment. 
This includes:

  • Supporting the completion of the allocated audit fieldwork by using the designated or required Global Internal Audit documentation and templates

  • Supporting the management of audits by working with the team to identify key stakeholders, organising fieldwork, identifying weaknesses, escalating issues and assisting in their resolution

  • Developing and then utilising professional knowledge and expertise to understand the business and develop suitable audit approaches and solutions




To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

  • The ideal candidate for this role will be either be a university graduate, ideally with IT based degree discipline, or an individual with one to three years of professional practices experience and an appetite to step into an internal audit role. 

  • Product knowledge relating to payments and/or more general experience relating to financial services or the practice of auditing technology is desired, although not essential.


The base location for this role is Sheffield, UK.
