You will be responsible for development of internal project monitoring procedures and indirectly supervise the team of project engineers and oversee completion ( Development and ensure a timely execution of Plans ) of all projects related to aircraft programs as per the company quality safety standards and budget
You will develop, adjust and ensure timely execution of plans for aircraft program ( AP ) and take responsibility for implementation and evolution activities. You will review, finalize and ensure issuance of AP for each operated aircraft type based on aircraft manufactures requirements, in-service experience and QCAA requirements. You will also ensure timely , complete and correct transfer of AP , inducing AP revisions to the IT system for implementation. You will also put in place necessary measures to ensure any discrepancies are addressed without impact on airworthiness . you will carry out routine cross check/verification of critical activities and take corrective action. You will oversee all BFE/SFE purchases and actively engage with aircraft manufactures and BFE/SFE vendors to drive development of new Technology in cabin equipment to reliability and performance benefits. You will evaluate aircraft definition specifications for original equipment manufacturer ( OEM ) selectable options such as Seller Furnishing Equipment ( SFE ) or STANDARD SELECTION OPTIONS during the aircraft definition process for Qatar Airways executive management consideration. You must also ensure that selected equipment is in compliance of all technical, legal requirements, Airworthiness issues and is cost effective.
