This position will provide psychiatric consultation to the STO ER, Urgent Clinic and potential future Walk-in Clinic. The Psychiatrist should be able to flex their time between these services, which have variable volume, to best support these services.
An interest in the education of residents and students is highly desirable as the successful candidate is expected to apply for a Clinical Faculty Appointment in the Department of Psychiatry, University of Alberta.

Candidates must be eligible for certification with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in Psychiatry and preferably have subspecialty certification in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. S/he must also be licensed with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta
Remuneration is fee-for-service, supplemented by on-call and administrative sessional payments.
