We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Senior Corporate Account Manager.

    

Principal responsibilities 

  • Part of the Employee Banking Solutions which is responsible for pitching the Retail Banking and Wealth Management propositions to employees of Global Banking and Markets clients.

  • Engage with the country Employee Banking Solutions team and broader Retail Banking and Wealth Management and Global Banking and Markets teams to grow the Employee Banking Solutions client base.

  • Relationship building with active partnership account

  • Cross selling for bank solutions and services to broaden customer base

  • Initiate projects and drive initiatives that align Group direction and strategy

  • Deliver the required service standards and proposition consistently

  • Establish new connections and expand Retail Banking and Wealth Management customer base

  • Enhance cross selling of different products

  • Adapt to changing performance parameters and the ever changing regulatory environment

  • Operate within the approved operating and strategic plan process to develop the Retail Banking and Wealth Management business.

  • Maintain awareness of operational risk and minimize the like hood of it occurring including its identification, assessment, mitigation and control, loss identification and reporting.

 

Qualifications

 

Requirements​ 

  • Bachelors degree in business, finance, related field or equivalent experience.

  • Years of proven and progressive retail banking sales experience.

  • Strong sales, managerial, interpersonal, organizational, communications, negotiations, lateral thinking and decision making skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships with internal business partners as well as external corporate clients.

  • Extensive knowledge of the financial services industry particularly retail and wealth management, coupled with the ability to understand and negotiate through the HSBC internal network

  • Robust understanding of Global Standards

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal 

  • Good PowerPoint, Excel and Word skills
