In this role, you will be responsible for creating a platform that allows a process of continuous review and improvement to be carried out within the region, this includes monitoring regional allotment performance, initiating corrective measures, preparing and presenting regional budgets and to ensure operational robustness, simplicity and efficiency. Working alongside with SMRC, RCMs and Regional Support Team across Qatar Airways Group you will ensure all commercial, sales, handling and operational matters in the region are performed in a timely manner.
Daily important functions will include coordinating with different stake-holders within the Cargo Division to ensure that the region’s requirements are met, including but not limited to upgrade requests (incremental revenues), operating schedule, capacity availability to accommodate allotments and project cargo, special rate requests, interline agreements, trucking agreements and charters. You will be responsible for liaising with the out-stations and HO Pricing Team to review the seasonal pricing structure of the Street/Tariff and contract rates and the timely submission thereof.
You will be the central point of contact for all stations and will lead all the investigations, evaluate, prioritize and action escalations from the stations, customers and head office department in a timely and professional manner, including but not limited to ULD shortage. You are also expected to have strong involvement for the yearly regional budget preparation and submission and to monitor, analyse and present reports on region’s performance for the higher management to facilitate daily business decision making.
You will ensure that all functions are pro-actively managed and establish strong working relationships within all stations in the region, with all Head Office related departments and with other cargo and corporate functions. Management duties are to effectively supervise and lead the team with clear objectives and goals on a daily basis and to train and develop your team to provide a high standard of service delivery.
To be successful in this role you should be University Graduate or equivalent with minimum of 5 years of work experience in business analysis / similar job functions in an airline industry and complemented by good awareness of cargo operations.
