About Your Job:

An incredibly exciting opportunity now exists to join our Human Resources team as Regional HR Business Partner - with responsibilities across UK and Ireland.

As HR Business Partner based in London, you will add immediate value by leading the implementation of the HR strategy in your regions. Reporting to Regional HR Manager - Europe, you will lead on matters regarding implementation of HR strategy and operations for a growing client population in the region, covering 2 countries.

This represents a fantastic opportunity to join a fast paced environment within a leading Aviation group to contribute to our continued development and evolution. 

Accountabilities:
  • Function as strategic HR Business Partner to the Leadership team for UK and Ireland across the 5 locally based Divisions - Commercial, Ground Services, Cargo, Technical and Finance.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to develop HR strategies and policies that support business growth and reinforce a culture of performance.
  • Develop a HR strategic plan for Region in line with the Group and European HR strategic plan including talent and performance management, building capability, engagement, development and communication.
  • Managing a team, providing expert guidance, supervision and support; direct daily activities, recruit, train, develop to ensure the highest standard of service delivery.
  • Provide guidance and support on key people issues and partner with senior management and provide coaching to Regional Management teams.
  • Ensure governance and compliance with local labour laws and lead implementation of HR policies and processes across markets 
  • Identify and sponsor key projects that support the delivery of the Global and European HR strategic plan.
  • Build and Develop effective working relationships with the client group positioning Human Resources as an integral part of the business and the HR business partner function as a trusted advisor.
  • Lead and provide strategic guidance in relation to organizational design and development, learning and development, performance and reward, and employee engagement. 
                                       
About you:

The role will be based in London with regular travel within the UK and to Ireland.

The successful candidate will have the following: 

- Extensive work experience within HR as a Senior Business Partner/ HR Manager in an expanding, multi-site and multinational business.

- You will be educated to degree level preferably with a recognized accreditation in HR.

- You must have strong relationship building and influencing skills, strong leadership ability and an innovative mind set.

- You will have had experience dealing with Unions and be well versed in employment legislation across UK and Ireland.
