Band 5

Salary range £24,670 - £30,742 per annum for full time hours dependent on experience

Band 6

Salary range £30,401 - £38,046 per annum for full time hours dependent on experience

27 days holiday allowance plus 8 bank holidays rising to 29 and 33 after  5 and 10 years.


Intermediate level in both verbal and written English with a willingness to improve

NMC registration and PIN for Band 5 and above

UK based candidates

Applicants will be shortlisted based on their application information.  You will be notified if you are invited to interview.  NHS Scotland operates a Job Interview Guarantee (JIG), which means that if you have a disability, and meet the minimum criteria outlined within the person specification, you will be guaranteed an interview.    Following a successful interview, we will then look to place you in your chosen clinical areas. 

International candidates

The first interview will take place via Skype (or equivalent service) with the recruitment team if you are an international applicant

We will provide information on a second interview that may take place locally

An offer of employment is subject to pre-employment checks, such as Occupational Health and Criminal Convictions
