About The Role::

As the Regional Cargo Pricing Analyst for South Europe, you will be responsible for setting the QR Cargo pricing guidelines for the following regions: France, Italy, Spain and Portugal.

You will steer the sales organization to sell the right flows on the various O&Ds (origins and destinations) and at the right price, in order to maximize the network margins. You will also help execute the allocation planning process. You will integrate in a department which requires you to be autonomous, well-organized but also comfortable with teamwork.

Key Accountability : 


  • Review and provide the market rates proposed by cargo sales for the origin regions he/she is responsible for (online/offline station).
  • Determine the minimum selling rate and minimum pricing conditions for all relevant regions in coordination with head office pricing departments in Doha.
  • Analyse market trends, historic information and industry benchmark (IATA, CASS and World ACD report) to determine the pricing guidelines.
  • Monitor the cost involved in transporting the cargo from origin to destination and make sure all rates are covering variable cost.
  • Coordinate with the cargo revenue management teams to guarantee that the rates for the region are consistent.

Allocation planning process 

  • Guarantee the request from different stations are received on time.
  • Verify the consistency and the quality of the received allocation request , and take corrective actions when needed.
  • Execute and ensure the allotment  performance monitoring process

Sales Steering 

  • Monitor the capacity utilization on the entire network and constantly interact with cargo sales of his/her origin regions to guide their actions; steer the demand on unconstrained routes and maximize the revenue on constrained routes.
  • Analyze market information and direct opportunities to relevant regions. 

Performance Analysis & Reporting 

  • Identify causes hampering optimal pricing optimization and process corrective actions.
  • Regularly report to Space Control and Revenue Manager on the pricing performance of relevant regions.
  • Produce & develop weekly dashboard for the markets belonging to South Europe.


About You::

You will have to meet the following requirements to be considered for this role:

- Bachelor’s Degree with specialization in pricing or revenue management combined with solid job related experience. 

- Previous experience in Cargo Pricing or another Cargo Commercial department (Cargo Sales, Cargo Revenue Management or Cargo Customer Service).

- Solid understanding of Cargo operational and commercial processes, and IATA/TACT regulations.

- Strong analytical skills and advanced problem solving skills. 

- Excellent communication in written and spoken English and French. Knowledge of Spanish & Italian would an advantage.

- Proficiency in MS Office applications.

- You must be eligible to live and work in France.
