About the role
The Planned Procedure Unit @ The TOWNSVILLE Hospital ( http://www.facebook.com/townsvillehhs/ ) is a multi-focus unit; catering for day of surgery (DOSA) and day surgery (DSU) patients, which includes adults and children from six months old. The unit also encompasses an Extended Day Surgery Unit (EDSU) and patients requiring medical imaging procedures are also admitted and prepared in the unit.
We are seeking someone with demonstrated:
Mandatory requirements for this position are a Bachelor of Nursing tertiary degree, or equivalent qualification, and registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse. Appointees are required to work all shifts in accordance with unit requirements; this includes participation in the on-call roster.

Pro-rata remuneration package based on full-time equivalent value up to $103,775 p.a., comprising:

We cover the continuum of healthcare services from advanced, highly specialised, tertiary-level healthcare at the main hospital to secondary and primary-level hospital and community healthcare across 20 facilities.
