 Job Purpose: To act as a member of the tech support team who should be well versed with databases such as Oracle / SQL Server, Java and UNIX Shell Scripts including Korn Shell Scripts & Bourne Shell Scripts










Key Responsibilities:









Experience in development and support of technology projects with 10+ years of experience in a technical Support / Development using RDBMS such as Oracle/SQL Server. Experience with Spark/Hadoop is good to have, and experience with Mongo DB, Spark will be a big plus. Experience with Java (J2EE) is desired. Good experience in writing UNIX Shell Scripts including Korn Shell Scripts & Bourne Shell Scripts is required. Experience in handling tech support teams across Risk and Finance applications is desired. Key responsibilities are:




•Providing Technical support for Production and UAT Issues (Level3).




•Expertise and well versed with Web Application Development using Java and Ext JS.




•To support application tuning and debugging strategies




•Highly motivated with the ability to multi task productively




•Ensure best practices are followed


•Analyse complex and voluminous data









Qualifications
 

Qualifications:



First class degree with excellent academic qualifications. B.Tech. in Comp science, IT, or other engineering disciplines from a reputed institute with relevant work experience.







Skills:







Primary - Java/J2EE, RDBMS, Unix scripts, Big Data (Spark/Hadoop).





Other Desired Skills: Business Intelligence tools like Microstrategy, etc., MongoDB
