About the Role
Deliver high level clinical consultation for consumers from CALD backgrounds including assessment, diagnosis and input into treatment planning, promoting application of evidence-based care, with infrequent need for direct clinical practice supervision.
Work in collaboration with relevant staff in the development and implementation of plans, policies and procedures for the delivery of culturally responsive mental health care consistent with state and national policies and standards to support the continuum of care for CALD consumers and build the capacity of the Service to respond to the mental health needs of people from CALD backgrounds.
Provide CALD specific clinical advice to professional and operational supervisors, relevant service managers and other stakeholders, ensuring that service delivery is consistent with relevant policies and frameworks.
Establish and maintain collaborative partnerships with identified internal and external key stakeholders to facilitate access to services and integration of care for CALD consumers and their families.
Provide clinical practice support to less experienced practitioners to ensure the maintenance of professional clinical standards within mental health service delivery to people from CALD backgrounds.
