The Hospital

Major 351 bed acute teaching hospital with one of the Queensland’s busiest and best performing emergency departments. Specialties including anaesthetics, emergency, medicine, surgery, intensive and coronary care, orthopaedics, obstetrics, paediatrics, palliative care, rehabilitation, mental health and allied health services.  The Paediatric Service is part of the Greater Brisbane Metropolitan Hospitals working with the Lady Cilento Children’s Hospital to give paediatric patients and families the right care in the right place at the right time. The hospital is a teaching hospital affiliated with the University of Queensland.

The Position

To provide medical services under the supervision and direction of senior staff.  Document relevant clinical information accurately, concisely and legibly in patient medical records. Conduct interviews, examinations and the identification of clinical problems. To arrange investigations, surgical treatment, medical treatment and discharge as directed by the Consultant to which assigned. Conduct day to day review of patients.

To be eligible for this opportunity, you must have

  • Current AHPRA registration or eligible for registration with AHPRA.
