As Production Control Officer you will be responsible for: -
Operational support in Centralized Planning in terms of Line/Light/Heavy work packages printing, splitting as per defined sequence, attaching associated JICs/Drawings, task card control and review during maintenance, work package execution including coordination with other stakeholders, issue and control of defects for rectification and allocation of maintenance bays/stands for Base_ Maintenance.
Production Planning (Line and Base)
You will: -
•Print and issue maintenance work packages for both Qatar Airways and third party.
•split and issue maintenance work packages to maintenance staff for light/Heavy maintenance,
•Prepare all work packages at Line maintenance to be accomplish by the coming shift (shift action plan) considering capacity and ground-time constraints and issue agreed packages for the shift.
•Prepare/print Job Instruction Cards, Reference documents and drawings.
•Monitor Line/Light/Heavy maintenance work progress against established plans.
•Issue, receive, monitor and update task card status at defined intervals for ongoing maintenance.
•Directly inform Flight Operations and Engineering services concerning all completed tasks requiring feedback prior to aircraft release.
•Support certifying staff, as focal, in the check control office in ensuring that all the requirements of the workpackage are met and necessary procedure for paperwork completion and task deferment is followed prior to aircraft release to service.
•Liaise with Engineering as required for queries/findings arising during maintenance.
•Review all completed tasks for proper completion, update the system with package completion details and submit package to Fleet Planning in a timely manner.
•Update all deferred defects in the system of Base maintenance.
You will: -
•Coordinate Hangar Maintenance bay allocation for all Line/Light and Heavy maintenance inputs (48hrs window).
•Coordinate all common base maintenance stands (Q20/Q21/Q40/Q41 and isolation bay) for all Line/Light/heavy inputs including prioritization.
•Coordinate for all aircraft movements (towing, re-positioning) within Base Maintenance.
•Liaise for required aircraft refuel/defuel required for maintenance activities at Base maintenance.
•Be Focal point for coordination with FMM requiring scheduled facility/equipment downtimes.
•Coordination for GSE positioning.
•Perform other department duties related to his/her position as directed by the Head of the Department.About You:
Qualifications and Experience:
Relevant College or University qualification to min Bachelor's level with minimum of 4 years relevant experience
Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance with minimum of 4 years relevant experience
Additionally, Aircraft General Familiarization course.

•General knowledge of Aircraft, Maintenance environment constraints.
•Knowledge of CAMO/part 145 regulation and functions.
•Good command of English language (Read/Write).
