This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of Qatar Aviation Services as Business Development Manager. In this role you will be responsible to implement Qatar Aviation Services expansion strategy and identify new opportunities on a global basis. You will build, coach and develop a team of business analyst to deliver valuable and innovative market intelligence that will support both the current and future commercial expansion plan. You will be responsible for commercial evaluations, developing business plans and feasibility’s for new business opportunities towards achieving our vision on globalization.
Your key accountabilities will include the following:
This role reports to the SVP QAS with the accountability to develop business strategy and project the future growth of QAS.
Monitor budgetary variances and initiate measures to ensure that business targets are achieved.
Evaluate and recommend new business opportunities on a global basis and prepare feasibility studies that will be presented to the senior management team
Use of business intelligence and analysis tools to investigate operational issues for all aspects of ground handling to identify and make recommendations that will drive the QAS business forward
Manage a team to develop and create detailed analytical reports related to QAS resources
Develop and maintain positive and effective stakeholder engagement and communications at all times, consistently challenging and supporting new ways of working
You will hold a relevant College or University qualification to a Bachelor’s Degree level with a minimum of 7 years job related experience. With a strong background in math’s, engineering, IT or business administration. You will demonstrate a high degree of accuracy within your work.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in financial analysis and have experience of business development within a growing organization.
