Providing oversight and control of all activities within Cabin Maintenance Department. Ensuring company procedures, regulations and standards are adhered at all times.
Manager to achieve constantly the required Quality & Productivity of the Cabin Maintenance for Line Operation. Interact with other Technical Department Duty Managers for any issues having impact to operation. Undertake full responsibility of all cabin operational decisions to prevent or minimize operational disruptions and customer inconvenience.
Analysing and implementing new solutions and improvement plans to support continuous enhancement of Cabin Interior Standards across all the fleet and product delivery to QR interior 5 star standards.
Recommend and develop procedures to improved efficiency and productivity
Forecast and plan for future requirements within Cabin Maintenance Department related to manpower, training, tools and material.
Manager Line Cabin Maintenance operation 7 days per week
Monitor and evaluate performance of Cabin Maintenance Supervisors
As determined by Manager Cabin Maintenance, fulfil the roe of Deputy Senior Manager Cabin Maintenance
Ensure that Cabin Maintenance Supervisors have adequate staff for their shifts, which are required for 25/7 operation of the department
Review all reports from Cabin Maintenance Supervisors and provide them with corrective instructions and feedback.
Attend the meeting with Vendor representatives and forward all important cases to Senior Manager Cabin Maintenance
Recommend to the Senior Manager Cabin Maintenance for the provision/purchase of all equipment, tools and transport needed to cover operational requirements.
To be successful in this role you must have a relevant Vocational, Tertiary or Trade Qualification, with Aeronautical and Airline background with detailed knowledge of modern aircraft and cabin interior system. You must hold a ICAO Level II License with current type ratings on modern aircraft. You must have 4 QR fleet aircraft current authorization ( combination of B1 full and B1-cabin) and completed management training. You must have a minimum of 8 years job related experience and detailed knowledge of Cabin Maintenance fundamentals and Airworthiness regulation.
For internal promotion from EN.03 minimum 1 year in the grade and 2 years of experience in Supervisory role.
You must be comfortable with new Technology and have the ability to create new ideas and implement them on a continuous basis. You must also be analytical, have good interpersonal skills, results-oriented and be able to make decisions under pressure.
