An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Junior Sister/Charge Nurse in our Children’s ED team at Queen’s. We are looking for Children’s Nurses to join our team who are enthusiastic, committed, have the ability to work under pressure, are assertive and have a willingness to teach and support junior colleagues. If that is you we would be delighted for you to join our team. The successful candidate will act as a role model and provide leadership in the clinical area. You will provide the highest standard of individualized evidenced based patient centered care whilst supervising the work of others. The post holder will be expected to take charge on shifts. Most importantly, you’ll share our PRIDE values and our desire to continue to improve.
Our Children’s nursing team is constantly expanding, to support this you in this exciting journey will be learning and developing your knowledge whilst ensuring your skills are kept fully up to date. You will be supported by Practice Development Nurse, Advanced Nurse Practitioners and Senior Sisters, together with a friendly multidisciplinary team and a corporate training and development team.
