An opportunity for a 9 month secondment into the busy Network and Telecoms Team of the eHealth Department is available.
The successful candidate will gain experience with the day to day trouble shooting of network faults and issues. The candidate will assist with the provision of third line support to users or other eHealth colleagues, liaising with them directly to understand, diagnose and resolve network related problems they may be having. The candidate may need to work with other network team members, other teams within eHealth or directly with suppliers to bring any issues to a successful conclusion.
The successful candidate will be expected to provide support for:-
• PC and Laptop connectivity
• LAN infrastructure hardware issues using a variety of monitoring tools
• WiFi Problems
• SWAN connectivity difficulties
• Remote Access problems
• Voice quality issues
This is an opportunity for the successful candidate to gain experience working in a busy network team developing their knowledge and skills of network technologies.
