Band 6 Senior Staff Nurse in Oncology and Haematology
Full time 37.5 hours per week
Mandarin B is an inpatient acute Oncology and Haematology ward, we care for 30 patients, newly diagnosed with cancer, patients receiving chemotherapy or radiotherapy and symptom management.
We are looking for an individual who is passionate about nursing and who has passion to deliver excellent cancer care and would also like to develop their management skills in support of the senior sister.
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated person to become part of the ward team. You must be able to demonstrate good communication skills. You will have the opportunity to develop your clinical skills and professional education. We are looking for a nurse who has good leadership skills, is able to demonstrate confidence in both emergency and non-emergency situations and provide an excellent role model to other members of staff.
All new staff appointed to posts at the Trust will be subject to a 6 months probationary period. This will give new staff members an opportunity to become familiar with the culture and working environment of the Trust.
