We are currently hiring for a Business Systems Analyst to be responsible for conducting reviews across Compliance IT systems (Transaction Monitoring, Sanctions Name Screening, CDD) focussing on the IT Controls (e.g. Data Integrity, Batch Management, Change Management, etc.) applicable to those systems.
Key duties include:
Responsible for portfolio shaping and portfolio governance in partnership with the GPB business transformation team and delivery assurance, driving adoption & adherence to agile practices within the GB/GF
Manage the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) process for Operations Shared Services (GPB IT).
Attend core Portfolio & Programme Management (PPM) Forums (IT Portfolio Delivery Committee, IT OpCo) and represent the GPB IT portfolio.
Present analysis and updates on CTB financials, headcount & portfolio delivery status at core GPB IT COO forums
Facilitate the definition of key milestones for all programmes across GPB IT and co-ordinate the setup of these programmes within Clarity
Financial planning and forecasting of the GPB IT portfolio
Provide portfolio and programme-level financial reporting across GPB IT and provide data on forecast vs. AOP
Assure line of sight of the portfolio and delivery health and effectiveness
Review of the monthly Financial forecasting PM scorecard and responding to key issues and concerns
To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:
Knowledge of programme and portfolio management, preferably acquired in a highly regulated environment and able to evidence successful delivery of multiple projects/initiatives
Understanding of risk management fundamentals.
Basic level of financial knowledge (Capex vs Opex, P&L, burn rates, forecasting, etc).
Strong knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
Knowledge and experience of delivery using Agile and/or DevOps methodologies
Prior experience of working in Private banking
The base location for this role is 8 Canada Square, London.
