The My Medical Record Team, providers of our internationally acclaimed and award winning patient online service, currently have two developer vacancies due to increasing development and business need.

The successful candidate will be working with members of the My Medical Record Team and wider stakeholders (both clinical and non-clinical) to develop new functionality and modules in support defined customer and user requirements. They will also be responsible for the full lifecycle management of their own code including testing of their own code ahead of unit and end-to-end testing by other team members and preparation for go-live. Our developers also provide 3rd line operational support on all aspects of the service.

We’re looking for experienced full-stack application developers who can enhance our existing systems, and develop new solutions to meet the needs of the Trust and our partner organisations.  Significant experience of ASP.Net, C#, CSS, and HTML5, is essential, as well as practical experience of enterprise databases. Applicants must be self-motivated, with an ability to adapt their skills to our development environment. We operate complex data storage architectures with multiple APIs and therefore significant knowledge transfer will be required, so the right candidate will also be a quick learner.  The post requires collaboration with non-technical staff to establish requirements and model the business.

Please read the attached person specifications and job descriptions which detail the skills and experience that you’ll need to demonstrate for the band 7 role.

If you do not meet all the grade requirements but can demonstrate many of them, we will consider appointment at a training grade with a view to you gaining specific competencies, undertaking training or building experience which would then make you eligible for the advertised positions.
