We are pleased to announce an incredibly exciting opportunity to join our Commercial team in London as Regional Market Planning and Analysis Manager.
As part of the Market Planning and Analysis Team for Europe based in our Central Mayfair offices, you will add immediate value by implementing innovative solutions to improve overall commercial efficiency, reducing cost and increase revenue production in the region.
Reporting to the Senior Manager-Market Planning and Analysis you will project manage cross-functional teams to implement change initiatives and process improvements as defined by management. You will support selected commercial functions across the Region and be a distribution channel and customer segment ‘champion’.
This role will enable you to further develop your expertise within a fast moving environment with exceptional opportunities for career progression.Specific accountabilities include:
Take strategic targets and translate into project scopes and work packages to effectively deliver on tight deadlines
Deliver revenue targets, improved commercial efficiency and reduce cost where necessary through commercial opportunity throughout the region
Project manage the implementation of innovative commercial solutions through customer segmentation and product development.
Identify large-scale industry trends as well as new business opportunities.
Take a pro-active approach to identifying revenue improvement opportunities.
Build and sustain a best practices approach to sales processes by communicating own successful commercial practices to other regions, supporting organization of best practice events across regions and adopting outcomes such best practice workshops for the region.
Analyze the performance of campaigns, off-line revenue and share insights to improve revenue performance.
Lead, train and develop other employees to ensure comprehensive succession planning
Establish the team’s objectives and priorities to align with and support underlying business objectives.
Provide insights to internal stakeholders of distribution channel performance and gathering feedback to ensure that appropriate KPI’s and metrics are met.
Support the continuous improvement of reporting and analytics processes in addition to applying the industry knowledge and insights to interpret data and improve performance.
Regularly evaluate the department or teams objectives, plans, procedures and practices, and makes appropriate changes if needed.
Monitor latest data management and digital analytics trends, which can be adopted by Qatar Airways for more effective commercial operations.
Relevant experience in managing (processing and analyzing) voluminous data.
Ideally qualified to degree level or above
Experience in deriving insights from data and submitting actionable recommendations to management.
Experience is setting in preparing and giving presentation on business performance to middle and senior management
Managerial skills - Ability to delegate work, set clear direction and manage workflow.
Strong mentoring and coaching skills.
Fluency in English is (written and spoken) is essential for this role
