Would you like to be part of a new dynamic team within the Cancer Care? An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a new team of Doctors Administrator Assistants in Division A. This post sits within the Cancer Care Group.
ABOUT THE TEAM
This role is pivotal in working with the multi disciplinary teams within Cancer Care and the junior doctors on a daily basis.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
The main purpose of this role is to capture and transcribe all patients, admitted to the division, past medical history from current and previous admission clerking documents, to input this data to the Doctors Worklist and initiate the e-Discharge summary with transcribed findings.
We are looking for a competent, self motivated and professional individual to join our teams within Cancer Care. A flexible team player you will have excellent communication skills and a strong ability to work accurately to tight deadlines. NHS experience is desirable but not essential.
You will need to have excellent attention to detail skills, ideally some medical terminology knowledge experience and experience in a busy demanding medical environment. You will need to be able to communicate with staff at all levels to ensure information and data quality meets their needs.

Getting to Work
Application can be made for parking on site at UHS or through one of the park and ride schemes. This will be based on specific criteria to determine eligibility for site parking as this can be very limited. UHS encourages staff to utilise other green methods of getting to work such as cycling or walking where possible. UHS is well connected through bus services to the city centre and other areas.
