Communications Officer




Hang Seng’s Communications function is dedicated to enhancing the Bank’s image by strengthening relationships with different stakeholders, including the media. We monitor public opinion of Hang Seng and help ensure important Bank messages are conveyed in a timely and effective manner. We promote the Bank’s products and services to the external audience on a proactive basis. We also safeguard Hang Seng’s strong brand and position as the leading domestic bank in Hong Kong by advising on reputational matters.


We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our department as Communications Officer.


Principal responsibilities

  • General administrative support to the department
  • Daily news monitoring and clipping
  • Distribution of press releases and media communications materials

  • Support in organising press events

  • Database management

  • Preparation of correspondences, reports and presentation materials

  • Liaison with external vendors         





  • HKALE / HKDSE level
  • Minimum five years of work experience

  • Strong self-motivation with an ability to work under pressure

  • Sound knowledge of application software such as MS PowerPoint, Excel and Chinese word processing

  • Proficiency in both English and Chinese, with fluency in Putonghua an advantage

  • Great sense of ownership and servicing mindset to ensure efficient and effective customer service processes
