Product Owner – TLM Capabilities, Global Strategy & Support

The Third-Party Lifecycle Management (TLM) Capabilities team is a product team responsible for the design, configuration and implementation of product and capabilities to support the TLM business process in Global Supply Management (GSM). The main product used for TLM is ProcessUnity which is a cloud based third party risk management product.

In this role as TLM Product Owner, the successful candidate will be responsible for defining and overseeing execution of the product roadmap. The candidate will drive success of the product by working closely with business stakeholders, maintaining a strong project management framework, coordinating development efforts and providing valuable reporting.

 

Responsibilities:

  •  Deeply engage with business stakeholders to understand program priorities and vision in order to translate into an actionable product roadmap
  • Partner closely with product managers to breakdown roadmap into features and user stories
  • Coordinate development efforts across teams both internally (American Express Technologies (AET)) and external (ProcessUnity)
  • Serve as a scrum master to coordinate and conduct all agile ceremonies with business configurations team
  • Ensure a strong project management framework including tracking and reporting of all projects
  • Develop and publish ongoing product reporting including capacity trending, system availability, quality, product usage and more.

Qualifications
 
  • 2+ years product owner and/or scrum master experience
  • Prior project management experience, with proven ability to create strong reporting is a must
  •  A balance of technical and business operations knowledge with proven ability to drive solutions
  • Independent and self-motivated, capable of executing under uncertainty with multiple priorities, in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and relationship building skills
  • Experience operating in Agile framework
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
