It’s an exciting time in Health Informatics as we seek to build our existing capacity to focus on the development of Community and Primary Care Electronic Patient Records (EPR). Increasing our Community and Primary Care EPR development capacity will enable the Trust to realise its strategic ambitions for the establishment of an integrated Electronic Patient Record system across the Community, Primary and Acute Care settings.
Consequently the EPR Programme is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Manager and two Development Leads. One Development Lead will focus on developing the EPR to meet the needs of Community based services and the other will focus on the specific needs of Primary Care. The Leads and Manager will work collaboratively to maximise the benefits of Community and Primary Care EPR systems and their interaction with other clinical systems across the whole care system (acute, social care etc.).
The Manager role is offered on a substantive basis at Band 8a and has the overall management responsibility for the Development Leads as well the strategic management of the EPR. The two Development Lead roles are substantive Band 7 posts.
As a secondary focus all roles will also support the development of the EPR to meet the requirements of the Acute Care setting.
Whilst the job description and person specification may at first seem complex we encourage applications from people with transferrable skills and experience. A period of familiarisation and training will be available to develop the right candidate into the role.
All roles will be based at the Blackpool Stadium, with frequent travel within the Fylde Coast.
