NHS Highland is seeking to recruit a motivated and enthusiastic qualified Social Worker to join the Mid Ross Area Adult Social Work team. The successful candidate with be involved in developing person centred assessments, and outcome focused support plans, involving all members of the Mid Ross Integrated Health and Social Care team. You will be required to work closely with other professionals in NHS Highland as well as partner agencies and a range of social care providers.
The Mid Ross Area Social Work team provide a professional social work service to adults across the community, by undertaking a full range of social work duties and working collaboratively with clients who have complex needs to formulate support plans that maximise abilities, enable individuals to make choices and to work towards their identified goals, whilst identifying and minimising vulnerability and risks.
Work in partnership with families and carers, relevant professionals, other agencies and the wider community whilst adhering to all applicable legislation and NHS Highland policies and procedures, including both statutory and non-statutory requirements.
The post holder will cover work across the Mid Ross Area catchment area and as such some travel is expected. The work base will be within the Social Work Office base in Dingwall.
