An opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated nurse, to join The Highland Forensic Service. The post holder will provide specialist nursing care and treatment for individuals who have a mental health disorder and have also demonstrated serious offending behaviour or present a significant risk to themselves or others. The post holder will carry out mental health assessments, active intervention and nursing therapies underpinned by risk assessment and management, which will maximise the individual's potential to live in the community.
The post holder will be expected to work autonomously, undertake a clinical caseload and be able to make clinical and forensic decisions to maintain a high standard of care.
